The streets of London – dark, shadowy, mysterious – set the stage for The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes. The science driven experiential and environmental exhibition invites you to follow in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes, the literary creation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Join the master detective on his pursuit to crack the most intricate mysteries and dreadful crimes using the powers of deduction and the most cutting-edge 19th century techniques of forensic science. Surpass the infallible Holmes by joining today’s forensic scientists with 120 years of scientific progress and discovery at your fingertips.

In conceiving this exhibition we collaborated closely with experts on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and forensic historians. Our aim was to create an immersive Victorian environment that featured authentic artifacts and illuminates many of the techniques employed by Sherlock Holmes in the Conan Doyle stories. From a bustling period train station to the grisly slaughter house, the exhibition leads the guests through a myriad of meticulously realized vignettes as they attempt to solve a Sherlock Holmes inspired mystery. Our primary aim was to create replete, detailed environments that allow full access to the artifacts and present the material in a clear intuitive manner.

Organized by Geoffrey M. Curley + Associates, Exhibit Development Group, and in collaboration with Conan Doyle Estate Ltd.
